This coffee was grown on the Chepsangor farm owned by Rosebella Langat and her husband.
Rosebella is one of the most famous women moving in the world of Kenyan coffee.
She is known for her support of entrepreneurial women in the region as well as producing coffees of uncompromising quality where she is not afraid to experiment.
As a result, we have the opportunity to taste this “sleeping bag natural” lot, which was fermented first in closed grain pro bags and later sun-dried.
Chepsangor Estate is set in a beautiful area of rivers, waterfalls and heavy rainfall, where warm winds sweep through the valley from Lake Victoria.
The local climate allows for a balanced ripening of the coffee cherries and combined with the rich volcanic soils, results in a unique flavour profile.
