Licobu is a coffee processing and export company in Burundi run by Freddie Hakizimana.
It owns three water mills where they process cherries from well-trained small coffee farmers.
They aim to improve the livelihoods of farmers and promote the quality of Burundi coffee.
These coffee processing stations are located in Muyinga, Ngozi and Kirundo provinces.
Licobu works with around 3 500 small coffee farmers and employs around 360 workers per day during the coffee harvesting season.
